Prioritizing specific jobs when using the monthly plan RenderStreet One

When using the monthly plan RenderStreet One, it may become necessary to prioritize a specific job over the others, or to have the jobs completed in a specific order.  This can be done easily from your RenderStreet account interface, by using one of the three mechanisms:

Set the processing order for jobs to "Queued" instead of "Parallelized"

This option is available in your RenderStreet profile settings. When set to "Queued", the jobs will be processed in the order in which they were launched. This means that the first launched (oldest) job will be completed, and then the next launched one, and then the next one. In addition to this, it is possible to manually order the queue (see below).

When set to "Parallelized", the servers allocated to your One subscription will be divided equally between the processing jobs. As a result, all the jobs will be processed simultaneously.

Push the job directly to the top of the rendering queue when creating it

In the process of launching a new job from your RenderStreet account interface, you can check the "Add directly to the top of the queue" box.

This will cause the new job to have the maximum priority in the queue, and to be completed before the other jobs that you have processing with the One plan at that moment. The job launched with this option activated will also take precedence over other jobs, launched at a later time, which do not have the option activated.

If several jobs are launched with this option activated, the most recent job (the one launched last) will be completed first.

Important: Using this option will automatically set the job priority option in your account preferences to "Queued". If you already had it set to "Queued", the other jobs processing at the moment will remain unchanged. If you had the option set to "Parallelize", the other processing jobs will be automatically queued and completed in the order in which they were launched (the oldest job will be completed first).

Manually arrange the job queue

Your RenderStreet account interface offers the possibility to select manually the order in which the RenderStreet One jobs are completed.  In order to access this feature, click the "Reorder queue" button at the top of your account interface.

The interface will then change to 'reorder' mode, as illustrated below. Note that only the jobs launched with the RenderStreet One plan will be visible.

In order to reorder the queue, click and hold the "hamburger"/three lines menu at the left of each job row. Then drag the job to the desired position (first job from the top has the highest priority).

When finished, and all the jobs have the desired priority, press the Close (X) button near the "Reorder queue" text in the menu. The interface will revert to the normal mode and the jobs will retain the respective priorities. Reordering the queue takes effect immediately and can be done any number of times is necessary.

Important: Using this option will automatically set the job priority option in your account preferences to "Queued".  The jobs will be processed in the order in which they are shown in the "Reorder queue" screen.
