Making a payment. Saving payment data

Making a payment. Saving payment data

RenderStreet uses an integrated interface provided by  Braintree  to process both credit card and PayPal payments. This new page provides a streamlined interface for the payment process and offers you an option to link a credit card or a PayPal account to your RenderStreet account, for a faster payment process.

Important note: RenderStreet does not record or store any credit card information or PayPal login credentials. The form in our page collecting this information is hosted on Braintree's server, and all data is transmitted directly to them via a secure connection. In case you decide to save a payment method (credit card or PayPal account) in your RenderStreet account, the payment processor sends us a unique token that allows us to identify that payment method. The token does not contain any sensitive information and your credit card or PayPal login information cannot be reconstructed based on the token.

1. Entering your default billing information

Your payment methods page contains a form that allows you to save your default billing information. This information will be auto-filled every time you use a new credit card or a new PayPal account on our site.

2. Making a payment

In order to make a payment toward your credits balance, you will need to navigate to your on-demand credits page . If you are a RenderStreet One subscriber (or wish to become one), you can manage your subscription from the corresponding page .

In order to add credits to your account, please enter the value (in USD) you would like to add, in the 'Amount' field, and then hit Enter or click the 'Add Credits' button.

A new section of the page will open, allowing you to enter all your payment details in a single place.

3. Paying with a credit /debit card

a. Paying with a new credit / debit card

In order to pay with a new credit or debit card, select the 'New credit or debit card' button and enter the card details in the fields below. If you would like to remember the card for future use with your RenderStreet account, check the 'Remember for faster payments in the future' box. This option will allow future payments using the same card, without having to re-enter the card details. No sensitive data about you or about your card will be saved on our servers if you decide to use this option. Also, you will be able to delete any previously saved cards at any moment from your account.

The next step is to edit the billing address, if necessary. If you entered your billing information in your profile page (as described at point 1 above), the details will be automatically filled in this page. If you decide to remember this card in your RenderStreet account, the billing information will also be associated with the card, and loaded for any subsequent payments made with the same card.

Once you have filled the details, press the 'Pay $xxx' button at the bottom of the form. Your payment will be processed and you will receive a confirmation message.

b. Paying with a credit / debit card that you previously linked to your RenderStreet account

In order to pay with a previously linked credit or debit card, just select it in the list.   The billing information previously associated with the card will be automatically filled in the form, and you will be able to edit if necessary. When all the information is correct, click the 'Pay $xxx' button at the bottom of the form. Your payment will be processed and you will receive a confirmation message.

4. Paying with a PayPal account

a. Paying with a new PayPal account

In order to pay with a new PayPal account, select the 'New PayPal account' button in the payment form, and then press the blue 'Click here to link a new Paypal account' button.

A popup window will open from PayPal, asking you to log in to your PayPal account.

Enter your credentials, and click the 'Log In' button. You will be then presented with a dialog asking you to connect your PayPal account to RenderStreet.

Click 'Agree & Continue'. The popup will close, and now your PayPal account is linked to your RenderStreet account.

In order to complete the payment, click the 'Pay $xxx' button at the bottom of the form. Your payment will be processed and you will receive a confirmation message.

b. Paying with a PayPal account  you previously linked in your RenderStreet account

In order to pay with a previously linked credit or debit card, just select the email corresponding to the PayPal account in the list.   The billing information previously associated with the account will be automatically filled in the form, and you will be able to edit if necessary. When all the information is correct, click the 'Pay $xxx' button at the bottom of the form. Your payment will be processed and you will receive a confirmation message.

5. Deleting a previously linked payment method

In order to delete a previously linked payment method from your account, please go to the payment methods page and press the 'Remove' button corresponding to the payment method in the list. If the payment is used for an active RenderStreet One subscription, attempting to delete it will generate an error.

6. Managing saved payment methods:

The payment methods associated with the account can be managed from the 'Payment Methods' page.

7. FAQ:

Q: Is my payment information secure?
A: Yes, it is. Our billing page can only be accessed on a secure connection. The payment form is provided by the Braintree payment processor directly from their servers, and embedded in our page. All payment information is securely transferred to Braintree. We do not collect or store your payment information (credit card details or PayPal login information)

Q: What happens to my existing RenderStreet One / on-demand subscription?
A: The currently active subscriptions (for RenderStreet One or for the other on-demand plans) are not affected by the payment processor change, and they will remain active.
